Welcome to the LBJ/Reagan

Class of 1976 Reunion Celebration

MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT

Please read information further down regarding parking for Saturday evening

Due to the unprecedented Lake Austin boat ban the Friday night Commodore Riverboat event has been relocated. We were hoping that the LCRA would lift the boat ban with their noon announcement today but there is just too much water flowing through the dams and the ban was not lifted. It's a safety issue more than anything.

But "We Are Sixers" and Sixers are a resilient bunch!

We have moved the venue for Friday night to Abel's on the Lake at 3825 Lake Austin Blvd, which is next door to Hula Hut, so basically all in the same area. Check in will remain at the same site just to the left of Hula Hut - look for the Blue and Purple Balloons then walk over to Abel's.    Abel's has been working hard with us with very short notice - and coming through to keep the party rolling.   We will gather downstairs for appitizers and make our way up to a private area on the second floor for dinner, music, laughs and more hugs.   Parking will remain the same at LCRA parking lot

Please arrive for check in at 7:00pm - you dont want to miss the sunset from Abel's it is outstanding. Abel's has a rich history of a great party atomosphere, great food and beautiful views of the lake from every angle.

Due to several recent profile registrations, we have extended the deadline for ticket purchase to May 31, 2016.

‚ÄčWe will be cutting it very close so get your tickets purchased as soon as possible.   Looking forward to seeing everyone - it is going to a a great weekend with long time friends.

Party of a lifetime is just around the corner.  The Reunion Committee has been working fast and furious and taking into account comments from our classmates.  As a result we will be adding a new feature to include the option to attend just one of the evenings (Either the Riverboat Cruise or the Kodosky Lounge at the Long Center / Boston Concert).  There have been several who are facing schedule conflicts so we are trying to be accommodating --- our hope it to have everyone at both nights.  Should your schedule only allow one night cost will be $60.  By Sunday evening we will have that option online

Excitement continues to grow as the list of attendees grows.   Please help us get the word out so that every effort was made to reach as many as possible - we would hate to have someone miss out because they did not know.

Side note is you have updated your profile which you have otherwise you may not be getting this announcement - this does not confirm attendance to the Reunion Events.   Please click on the link to the left menu bar "40th Class Reunion" and follow the steps to purchase your tickets.  Payments can be made online or by mailing a check, you can also do an electronic check.

Deadline approaching.  So that we can turn over numbers to the caterers we will have a deadline of May 15, 2016.   So get the word out and get your registration froms processed.

If you are sitting on the fence on whether to attend or not - remember, we all have taken different journeys in the last 40 years.  The only thing your high school friends care about is you - to share old stories and make new memories.  Long Live the Sprit of "76
